“Break the Ice” Dinner the Night Before Pemmi-Con

There will be a Pemmi-Con “Break the Ice” dinner, Wednesday, July 19th, 2023, 7 PM – 9 PM CDT. This is the night before the convention.

No, there isn’t ice in Winnipeg in July, except in drinks. This is a social ice-breaker. Join your fellow fans (and maybe even some of our guests!) for a hearty meal and great company at The Old Spaghetti Factory, located in a historic building in the scenic Forks District.

The dinner is a set price of CAD $26.25 per person (including taxes and gratuity). The main course is a choice of:

  • Spaghetti with choice of Marinara Sauce, or Rich Meat Sauce, or Spicy Meat Sauce, or Browned Butter & Mizithra Cheese Sauce
  • Spaghetti with Meatballs
  • Lasagna
  • Tortellini Pomodoro
  • Manicotti
  • Basil Cream Penne

Dinner includes fresh-baked white bread and garlic butter, a green salad with house dressing, spumoni ice cream, and tea, coffee, or soft drink. Gluten-free and dairy-free options are available, please communicate with your server when ordering.

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a five minute drive, or twenty minute walk, from the Delta Winnipeg Hotel. If you can, come early to walk around the Forks and relax by the plaza.
