Costumes and Large Props

The Pemmi-Con committee reserves the right to deem a costume unacceptable and to request the wearer to make changes or not wear the costume.

The Hotels and function spaces require that you wear footwear. Bare feet are not permitted except at the pool or your own hotel room.

If your costume is very large, consider where you wish to display it. It may be more appropriate for the Masquerade or you may need assistance to ensure your costume does not get damaged. At the same time, your costume cannot block access to programme rooms or aisleways or other public spaces.

If you have a need for assistance to move your costume from one place to another, come into the Operations Office and we will attempt to obtain or provide assistance.

Do you know what a Erwin Strauss Message Board is? We’re planning to bring this cool classic fandom feature to Pemmi-Con! If you want to get in touch with someone at the convention but don’t know their cell number or email, the Message Board is a neat solution to your problem! Consult the posted list of members, push a stick-pin into the Board next to the name you want to contact, jot a note on a physical index card, put the index card in the alphabetized boxes — and voila, message sent!
